SwitchBak
When front man Daniel Wheeler called upon former band mates and talent from Nebraska’s largest metro areas to start a new project, little was known about what would come from the resulting mix of rockers and country boys. Nine years and hundreds of shows later SwitchBak’s four members continue to pack Midwest clubs, streets, festivals, and fairs with their own brand of country-rock music. Drawing on the driving guitars of southern rock, the storytelling of country Outlaws, the anthems of today’s country stars and the raw edge of Texas red-dirt, SwitchBak mixes all of the best ingredients like a good cocktail and then sets them ablaze to create a distinctly rugged, raw, natural sound of their own that has found its way into the hearts of thousands.
Not content with presenting their take on the well-known music of their influences, SwitchBak released their first EP "She Might Be A Little Crazy" in late of November 2015 and is currently working on their first full-length album. The band continues to maintain its busy live performance schedule throughout the year, with past appearances including FrogFest, Celebrate Lincoln, Septemberfest, and numerous fairs and festivals highlighted by their annual party at WaverlyFest, Nebraska’s largest street dance.
In addition to headlining numerous events, SwitchBak has been privileged to share stages with a variety national talent including Joe Diffie, Mark Chesnutt, Billy Currington, Gary Alan, the Eli Young Band, Montgomery Gentry, Jack Ingram, Reckless Kelly, the Bart Crow Band, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, The Beach Boys, the Casey Donahue Band, and Dustin Lynch.
SwitchBak and all its members would also like to thank God, their families, friends, and their fans for your love and support. Without all of you none of what we do would be possible. So with our glasses and our hearts held high here's to all of you...THANK YOU!!!
